FAQ: How to rename SA Account in SQL Server 2005

I never never knew that renaming SA is possible in SQL Server 2005. Recently i found a forum post and tried here we go...

ALTER LOGIN sa DISABLE;
ALTER LOGIN sa WITH NAME = [NewNameforSA];
